Each year Selma, Alabama commemorates and celebrates its civil rights history. Selma was at the center of the movement and the connection to the past and its importance to the future are passed to younger generations. Jamie was able to participate in 2022 and had the honor of meeting several lifelong residents who were part of the original march over the Edmund Pettus Bridge in 1965.
