Following the Russian invasion, thousands of Ukrainians fled the north and east to safer western destinations both in Ukraine and in neighboring countries. Entire families were migrating having left homes, belongings, and sometimes loved ones, behind. Jamie was embedded with a Medical Team that began treating internally displaced persons in the Lviv region in the third week of the war.
