Following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Jamie was able to travel with a WHO Type 1 Mobile Medical Team to assist with the flow of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in need of medical care.

 

The team crossed the border from Poland at the beginning of the third week of the war. Several more waves of medical volunteers were deployed in subsequent months providing care and treatment throughout eastern and central Ukraine.
